Our new GLAMPING Adventure

Upon graduation (years ago) from The University of Maryland my wife Elliott and I loaded up a Volkswagon Super Beetle with a pup tent, sleeping bags, a supply of canned "chow mien" and noodles, and took off to see the USA.  We had $600, no set routes, and nothing but some 8 track tapes and a sense of adventure.

Our trip lasted 45 days and took us to Colorado, The Grand Canyon, as far south as Encinado, Mexico, and as far north as Jasper, Alberta.  We camped in the Badlands, Glacier National Park, Medicine Bow, The Teton's and Crater Lake to name just a few.  We also camped at KOA's (when we needed a hot shower), State Parks and National Forest, and occasionally with great friends.  We will never be able to replicate that trip but have always maintained an interest in camping.

As we age however, E and I are finding camping more and more demanding, and consequently have been camping less with each passing year.  So last week we decided to make an investment in an ALINER Expedition, and start a new chapter in our life going "GLAMPING".... Or "glamorous camping". (Touch"READ MORE"BELOW" for photos and description)

This little hard sided pop up camper can be set up in less than one minute, has a queen sized bed, furnace, air conditioner, head, sink and two burner stove, table for 2, and a even TV/DVD for rainy days!
Folded up and ready to roll
Sets up in less than 2 minutes

We are starting this blog to share adventures with friends and family!  Check back from time to time to see.... Where in the World WE (Me and E) are hanging out!
