Cape Henlopen State Park, Delaware

Well we did it!  Our first of what we hope will be many great adventures!

We decided to stay close to home for our first trip to acquaint ourselves with the new ALINER camper, so Cape Henlopen, (while still only partially open) was our target.  It also served to acquaint us with "boon docking" camping since the sites had no water or electric.

I'm pleased to report everything worked exactly as advertised including the Propane furnace, hot water heater, stove, propane fridge, microwave (using the generator) and even the 12v TV-DVD.
All set up in less than 5 minutes!
With temps in the low 40's at night, we were cozy and comfortable after leaving a nice campfire.

We spent Wednesday walking the beach and visiting Fort Miles, a WWII Coastal Battery.  Cape Henlopen is interesting as it has both Bay and Ocean access..

Beautiful view of Cape Henlopen Light
Never gets old!

We're currently planning our next trip, so check back in soon to see "Where in the World" Me and E are "glamping".
